Outstanding. I, uh, have a bit of a talent for pulling people out of their shells.

And “ugly as sin” is a curious choice of words in a conversation such as this. Perhaps you could let me be the judge of that.

I’ve seen some rather physically…challenging…beautiful people before.

Indeed, “passion and friction” or “heat and pressure” that’s how you make diamonds, from simple carbon.
