Senate Minority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “This is a big, complicated subject. Another massive bill that we believe in its current form provides an endless taxpayer bailout of Wall Street firms.” –

“This Week”, the Sunday morning show, did a nice piece on McConnell and the word “bailout” (he uses it in pretty much every sentence when talking about this legislation). It seems propagandist douchebag extraordinairre Frank Luntz put out a memo a while back saying the way to kill this needed reform was to tie it the the very unpopular ‘bailout’ meme. So now, in fighting against regulation of Wall Street, (R)’s are trying to sell that opposition as exactly the opposite of what it is (saying they are against Wall Strret bailouts and voting against Wall Street regulation).
