Missouri Honors Living Douchebag…well…Republican lawmakers in Missouri…everyone else was locked out

The Democratic minority in Jefferson City is fuming. In a statement released to the media, House Minority Leader Mike Talboy said “House Speaker Steve Tilley today purported to induct misogynistic talk show host Rush Limbaugh III into the Hall of Famous Missourians. Instead of being open to the public as is tradition, the ceremony was conducted in secret in a locked House chamber with only Republican officials and other select people allowed in. The secrecy and exclusion of the public demonstrates that even Republicans are embarrassed at honoring someone who recently called a female college student with whom he disagreed a ‘slut’ and a ‘prostitute.’

21st Century America…where being living filth is somehow considered good…by Republicans.

Crazy Conservative Anti-Gay Rant Turns out to just be Crazy

A video of a woman testifying against the anti-discrimination ordinance at the Lincoln City Council this week went viral, but her family says she is diagnosed with schizophrenia and shouldn’t be taken seriously.

Jane Svoboda, 52, made several bizarre and disjointed statements during her five minutes of testimony at Monday’s meeting.

“A huge percent of gay men in school grounds molest boys, partly because they don’t have AIDS yet,” she said.

“Whitney Houston was found without clothes in a bathtub. Every corpse found without clothes has a partner who did away with them.

“Hillary Clinton’s roommate four years in college was a gay woman. To avoid going gay like Clinton did, college students need single rooms and single gender dorms.”

via Video of testifier’s anti-gay words goes viral, but there’s more to the story.

This happens to be a slight variation of something known online as Poe’s Law.

Poe’s Law is an axiom suggesting that it’s difficult, if not impossible, to distinguish between parodies of religious or other fundamentalism and its genuine proponents, since they both seem equally insane

And in this case, it’s the difficulty of distinguishing the rants of fundies and an actual crazy person.
