You can see here a lot of features that I’ve added over the last few days, including transitions and animations. Doesn’t translate well to screenshots.
It’s starting to feel a bit like a real game.
My next major challenge with be sound design and editing. Using “Balatro” as my guiding light there. Lots of subtle clicks and swishes. I *love* my OST and will be make a page to feature it soon.
The “Turtle Kingdom” song featured in the clip is based on one my favorites from my youth. The twist here is that it’s turtles talking smack about all the other species they’ve seen go extinct, and the simple advice to do what the turtles did, evolve to have a shell.
